Beautiful skin has long been a core theme of BEAUTY DÜSSELDORF. This spring the leading trade fair for the beauty industry will be featuring the BEAUTY full SKIN Stage in Hall 10 for the first time, a dedicated stage presenting over 30 expert lectures on skin cosmetics and care. Another new feature will be the technical talks specifically geared to the permanent make-up sector in conjunction with a championship for upcoming and professional PMU artists.
Needless to say, professionals from the cosmetics services and (stage) make-up artistry sectors can look forward again to Hall 10 (cosmetics ordering area) and Hall 11 (cosmetics direct sales area), where they will find an overview of current products and trends in skin care, decorative cosmetics and cosmetics devices. On show will be care products and innovative active agents, natural cosmetics as well as trending make-up products all the way down to new developments in treatment accessories and technical appliances.
One highlight of the programme will be the celebrity and expert panel “Let’s talk about…skin!” The guests participating in this panel discussion about skin health and skin care will include not only dermatologist Christina Drusio, make-up artist Serena Goldenbaum and entrepreneur Filiz Christoph but also P. Jentschura’s brand ambassador Monica Meier-Ivancan and celebrity Jana Ina Zarrella.
Premiere of the BEAUTY full SKIN Stage
The skin is our biggest organ and performs diverse tasks such as protection, temperature control and detoxification. In addition, it serves as an important organ for communication. The lectures at the BEAUTY full SKIN Stage in Hall 10 will promote knowledge transfer about current treatment methods and care strategies as well as trends and innovations in internal and external skin care, in natural cosmetics, apparative cosmetics and medical skin care. The lectures and expert talks will deal with such topics as skin ageing and sun protection, skin quality and skin analysis as well as treatment and nutrition. The focal themes of the 2023 expert programme will include “Sun Protection 2023”, “Well-Ageing – not just a Trend but a Cosmetic Revolution”, “Trends in Aesthetic Dermatology” and “Device-assisted and Analogue Skin Analysis”, to name but a few. Furthermore, relevant technical know-how will be conveyed about the “Dos and Don’ts in Chemical Peeling”, “Skin and Nutrition”, “The Microbiome and its Importance for Skin Health” and “Skin Barrier-supporting Treatments”.
A focus on permanent make-up
This time, BEAUTY will also pay special attention to the permanent make-up market. As part of the PMU expert programme, a series of lectures will provide a topical overview of “Market Trends, Devices and Modules” in this segment and address topics such as “Real Hairstrokes”, “Colours & the EU’s REACH Regulation” and “Removal of Permanent Make-up by Laser” while revealing the “Secret of Perfect Lips & Anaesthesia”. In addition, interested parties can look forward to the Permanent BEAUTY Masters presented exclusively at BEAUTY 2023 – a brand-new competition for all PMU experts and young talents.
