EHFF 2023: Branchentreff treibt Transformation der Fitnessbranche voran

Die Fitnessbranche ist im Wandel. Vorangetrieben von den Herausforderungen der Corona-Pandemie, bestimmen Digitalisierung, sich verändernde Kundenbedürfnisse und ein gesundheitsorientiertes Verständnis von Fitness und Wellness den Markt. Wie die Branche diesen Veränderungen erfolgreich begegnen und sie sogar vorantreiben kann, zeigt das European Health & Fitness Forum. Nach dem Erfolg der ausverkauften Veranstaltung im letzten Jahr laden EuropeActive und die FIBO Spitzenvertreter der internationalen Fitnessindustrie am 12. April erneut zum Gipfeltreffen in das Congress-Centrum Nord ein. Bereits zum 10. Mal findet das EHFF im Vorfeld der FIBO statt und bildet den Startschuss für Business, Networking und Weiterbildung auf Top-Niveau.

The last few years have clearly shown us how important health is - also at the workplace. Because that's where most of us spend between eight and ten hours a day. Reason enough to firmly anchor the topic of health in the working world. And with the help of occupational health management measures, this is becoming more and more successful. From exercise and relaxation programmes to bicycle leasing, there is a wide range of services that are beneficial to health. Of course, more and more companies are also offering fruit baskets and free drinks. But is that a sustainable solution? Probably not.

Gym of the future: EGYM Showroom

EGYM is coming with double the power to the fitness fair this year. The new stand "EGYM Showroom" shows real studio solutions to touch. Using real successful concepts from Fitness First, Next Door by Just Fit and LANDPhysio Lauchdorf as examples, the deep integration and lively diversity of the EGYM ecosystem can be experienced live in action. In the showroom, every operator, owner or those who would like to become one will receive free advice and inspiration for their individual studio or therapy concept. EGYM shows three very different studio concepts ranging from premium, personal optimised to a physiotherapeutic practice with a prescription-independent area.

In focus: Health and wellness in tourism as a market advantage

The reasons for travelling are manifold - there is a suitable hotel for every type of traveller. But the demand for health and wellness offers within the tourism sector is steadily increasing. So-called wellness tourism is a growing component of the hotel industry. According to a Statista survey, wellness and health holidays were among the top five most popular types of short trips in 2021 with a share of approximately 11.5 percent. In addition, around 28 percent of Germans expressed interest in special wellness offers, such as visits to wellness hotels or spas. In the same year, around 5.2 million Germans booked a wellness or health holiday. But Germans also continue to be willing to invest money in the area of sports: 14.2 billion euros per year.

Equitana 2023: Innovation and Stars

The independent jury of experts has made a pre-selection for the Innovation Award and nominated a total of 20 products in four categories. International players make the Hop Top Show Mosaique a unique experience. The Equitana Innovation Award is internationally one of the most renowned awards in the equestrian industry. This time, the prize is offered in four different categories. The jury has nominated the following products in its pre-selection for the competition. The award ceremony will take place during Equitana.

The signpost to the best ideas is the Equitana Innovation Award.
