Cologne, Germany – 04.21.2024 – The 107th edition of the Giro d'Italia, one of Europe's most prestigious professional cycling races, is set to traverse the length of Italy from May 4th to 26th, 2024. The iconic race will commence on May 4th in Turin, paying homage to the Superga air disaster that claimed the lives of the entire Torino FC "Grande Torino" football team 75 years ago to the day. The race will commence at the Venaria Reale and ascend the Superga hill.

A Journey Through Italy's Heart and Soul

Following three stages in Piedmont, the peloton will venture into Liguria, Tuscany, Umbria, and Campania before heading north along the Adriatic coast. Cyclists will face formidable climbs, including the iconic Monte Grappa and the mighty Stelvio Pass. After a total of 21 stages, 3,387 kilometers, and 44,550 meters of elevation gain, the Giro d'Italia will culminate in Rome on May 26th.
