Bavaria SR 33

Submitted by J. Mikhail on

Bavaria will be presenting the smallest motor yacht in its SR line as a world premiere in Düsseldorf. Boasting four full-sized berths, the 11.40 m long Bavaria SR 33 is a space-saving wonder. Her silhouette strongly resembles that of her bigger sisters – Bavaria SR36 and Bavaria SR 41 – which will also be exhibited on the Rhine. No wonder: her design came care of the same designer – Marco Casali.

The similarities in design and furnishing are deliberate. The Bavaria SR 33 offers all the features that also distinguish other SR yachts; namely maximum comfort geared to families and close friends.

With a 3.46 m beam the “youngest child” in the SR family is a good 40 cm “slimmer” than her predecessor. Nevertheless, she offers plenty of space below deck: a 2.00 m x 1.60 m wide double deck is located in the bow, separated from the salon by a curtain. Another berth is located at midship behind a door. If need be, the yacht offers an additional sleeping berth when the table is lowered. If the table remains in its original position it seats up to six persons.

Up to ten people can travel on board. The SR33 is approved for offshore waters, and Bavaria recommends two 250 to 350 hp diesel engines or, as an alternative, a single 380 hp diesel.
