Bénéteau Delphia 11

Submitted by J. Mikhail on

Bénéteau makes Delphia Yachts the hallmark of sustainability: the new “hiking” and cruising boats for inland waterways come with electric motors – 100% from 2024. Delphia is the figurehead for mindful cruising. Mindful here primarily means noiseless and zero-emission cruising thanks to the fully electric drive by Torqeedo.

Delphia 11 kicks off the new strategy. 10.77 m long and 3.85 m wide, the boat comes to Düsseldorf as a trade fair premiere. With a draught of just 0.80m it can also cruise on tributaries and shallow bodies of water. The drive allows boaters to explore destinations prohibited for vessels with IC engines.

Thanks to 80 kWh storage capacity a range of 80 km is possible at a speed of around 8 km/h – more than enough for a beautiful day out on the water. At quick-charging stations the battery is said to recharge 80% in three hours. The motor used for the Delphia is an 80 HP Torqeedo Deep Blue.

Up to 14 persons can join the trip, depending on the layout one to three cabins with a double berth each are available.
