Melba, Idaho – September 11, 2026 -- Pearl Publishing LLC has released a free downloadable PDF titled "The Complete Transcription of the Gold Plates of Mormon and His Son Moroni," combining three separate texts into a single document available at no cost.
The Melba, Idaho-based publisher says it received literary permission for the release from a group identifying itself as the Real Illuminati, which describes itself as an esoteric collective also known as the Three Nephites and John the Beloved. According to the group, its purpose is to promote critical thinking and oppose obscurantism, religious influence over public life, and abuses of governmental power.
The compilation merges three distinct texts into one document
The PDF includes a retranslation of the 1828 Book of Lehi, presented as a recovery of the 116 manuscript pages historically described as lost after Martin Harris took them from Harmony and never returned them. It also contains the 1830 Book of Mormon text as originally dictated by Joseph Smith and printed by E. B. Grandin in Palmyra. The third section is "The Sealed Portion—The Final Testament of Jesus Christ," a text first published in 2004 and presented as Moroni's abridgment of the vision of the brother of Jared.
The release date is tied to a specific historical anniversary
Pearl Publishing timed the release to coincide with the anniversary of the Mountain Meadows Massacre of September 7, 1857, framing the free transcription as a public counter-record tied to that date in early American history.
