Bad Wimpfen – October 31, 2026 -- Lidl is lowering prices on butter, blended spreads and vegan alternatives in all its German stores. A 250-gram pack of Milbona Deutsche Markenbutter now costs €1.15 instead of €1.19, a permanent cut that applies immediately.
Four cents off the staple butter pack
The base price for the Milbona butter falls to €4.60 per kilogram. Lidl says it was the first retailer to cut prices in this product group back in April, and the new reduction follows that move. The discounter ties the timing to the start of autumn and the coming baking season.
Vegan and blended spreads drop to the same price
The plant-based Vemondo Better Vegan and the Milbona Sødergården blended spreads also move to €1.15 per 250-gram pack, down from €1.19. Both the unsalted and salted Extra versions of the Sødergården spread are included, and each carries the same €4.60 per kilogram base price.
Regional butters get smaller cuts
Two further products are cheaper wherever they are stocked regionally:
- Milbona Süßrahmbutter (sweet cream butter), 250 grams: now €1.15 (€4.60/kg) instead of €1.19
- Milbona Weidebutter (pasture butter), 250 grams: now €1.75 (€7.00/kg) instead of €1.79
Lidl states that there are no regional price differences, so the new prices are the same in every store that carries the items.
