SHERIDAN, WYOMING -- August 28, 2026 -- Massage Envy named five massage therapy students as its July 2026 scholarship recipients on Thursday, each receiving $2,500 toward their education. The Scottsdale, Arizona-based franchisor picks five winners every month through its National Scholarship Sweepstakes, a program running continuously since 2022. The July recipients are Haley S., Auriel B., Yesenia V., Jingmin H. and Thanyaporn G. None of them are required to work at a Massage Envy location after graduation.
Total Payouts Near The $1 Million Mark
Massage Envy has now distributed $887,500 to 355 massage therapy students since the program began. The company said it expects to cross $1 million in total scholarship funding early next year. That's roughly 45 more students, at $2,500 apiece, before the milestone hits.Tuition for massage therapy programs often runs into the thousands of dollars per term. A single $2,500 award can cover a meaningful chunk of that cost for someone still in school.
CEO Ties The Money To Workforce Needs
Todd Schrader, CEO of Massage Envy Franchising, said the company wants to strengthen a profession that affects people's well-being directly. He described the monthly awards as steady support for students moving from classroom training into paid work. The company did not attach any employment requirement to the money. No purchase is necessary to enter.
Eligible entrants must be legal residents of the 50 states or Washington, D.C., and at least 18 years old, with exceptions for Alabama and Nebraska (19+) and Mississippi (21+). Applicants who received a Massage Envy scholarship in the past 24 months cannot enter again, and each person may submit only one entry. The current sweepstakes period started January 2, 2026, and runs through December 31, 2026, with official rules posted at massageenvy.com/scholarship.
