Frankfurt am Main – October 29, 2026 -- Six new Wonka sweets, from hat-shaped chocolates to a hollow milk chocolate Oompa-Loompa, are on sale across Germany for a limited time. Ferrero is behind the range, which it says offers unusual combinations of flavor, color and texture.
Ferrero has held the Wonka candy rights since 2018
Ferrero secured the exclusive confectionery rights to the Wonka brand in 2018. Its research and development teams worked with the company's creative teams to test recipes, flavors, textures and shapes for the range.
Four flavors of Magic Hats lead the lineup
The hat-shaped Wonka Magic Hats come in four varieties:
- Chocolonka: milk chocolate with crispy cocoa flakes.
- Caramellion: chocolate and caramel flavor with crispy corn pieces.
- Magenta Elixir: caramel flavor with a tangy raspberry note.
- Choco Fizz: chocolate with a fizzy, cola-flavored filling.
A purple caramel filling is billed as a world first
The Wonka Purplypurple milk chocolate bar weighs 90 g. It has a caramel-flavored milk cream filling in Wonka's signature purple. According to Ferrero, it is the world's first purple caramel filling on the market.
Gummies and Oompa-Loompas fill out the range
Wonka Magic Garden Ropes are gummy sticks with lemon and lime flavor, inspired by the garden at Wonka's chocolate factory. They are firm on the outside and softer inside, with a sour taste.
The Wonka Oompa-Loompa milk chocolate hollow figure is recognizable by its green hair and white eyebrows. Wonka Oompa-Loompa Gummies combine strawberry and blueberry flavors with an intense raspberry-cola filling.
Kinder Joy now hides collectible Wonka figures
Kinder Joy eggs now contain collectible Wonka Funko figures. Some eggs hold a rare gold-colored Wonka figure, alongside the milk and cocoa cream and crispy confectionery.
Katharina Büge, Head of Business Planning & Development at Ferrero Germany, said the product family invites fans to discover the Wonka universe in a new way.
Ice cream and seasonal releases are in development
Ice cream and other creations from different categories are already in development. Ferrero plans a new flavor, shape or creation for each season, from Christmas and Easter to summer and Halloween. The company has not said what comes next.
