Hanover, Pa. – September 12, 2026 -- Hanover Foods Corp. has launched a new frozen vegetable line called Skinny Veg, aimed at consumers taking GLP-1 weight-loss medications who often need smaller, nutrient-dense portions.
The line includes four blended vegetable-and-grain sides: Broccoli & Quinoa, Brussels Sprouts & Couscous, Spinach & Blackeye Peas, and Riced Cauliflower & Lentils. Each product contains just five ingredients -- one vegetable, one grain or legume, avocado oil, pepper and sea salt -- with no additives or preservatives.
Hanover Foods CEO says simplicity drives the new product line
"We believe the ingredient list should be the least surprising part of your meal, which is why Skinny Veg is intentionally simple," said Hanover Foods CEO Jeff Warehime. He added that the company wanted to offer consumers "a healthy option from a trusted source" as demand grows for foods that pair well with appetite-suppressing medications.
Products are already on shelves in select stores
Hanover Foods began selling Skinny Veg in select stores in August. The company plans to expand distribution across its full retail network in early 2027.
