Huntington, N.Y. – September 13, 2026 -- Patients researching symptoms on DxCheck can now book a doctor's appointment on the same platform, thanks to a new partnership with scheduling service Zocdoc.
The integration lets users book same- or next-day visits directly from health content pages
Through the partnership, DxCheck users can browse real-time appointment availability, filter specialists by insurance coverage, and book visits without leaving the site. The feature appears across condition pages, health articles, and assessment results, showing specialists relevant to the topic a patient is reading about and filtered by proximity.
DxCheck's CEO says the goal is closing the gap between diagnosis and doctor visit
"Patients and caregivers come to DxCheck for clarity about their health," said Chris Searles, CEO and Co-Founder of DxCheck. "This partnership means they can act on that clarity in the same moment — finding a specialist who treats their condition and booking a visit without starting over somewhere else."
Zocdoc providers are now searchable directly within DxCheck's platform
Zocdoc, which typically connects patients to appointments within 24 to 72 hours of booking, now makes its network of providers discoverable inside DxCheck. The companies describe the move as closing the "last mile" between a patient understanding their condition and actually getting seen for it, with access available digitally around the clock.
