Irving – October 19, 2026 -- Caris Life Sciences has launched the second commercial for Caris Detect, its multi-cancer early detection blood test, with three-time major champion golfer Jordan Spieth as the face of the campaign.
The ad compares golf analytics with cancer screening
The commercial argues that technology already measures nearly every aspect of athletic performance, and that the same level of intelligence can be applied to finding early stage cancer, when treatment is most effective. It shows how artificial intelligence has changed golf by analyzing millions of swings and countless data points to help players improve.
It then turns to Caris' work in molecular science and AI, which the company says can help identify cancer-associated molecular signals through a simple blood draw.
Spieth links ball-speed data to health data
Spieth says golfers use technology to measure everything from ball speed to spin rate because better information leads to better decisions. In his view, if advanced AI can help explain a golf game, it should also help people better understand their health. He says he is proud to support awareness of early detection.
Caris founder, chairman and CEO David Dean Halbert describes early cancer detection as one of the most important applications of AI. He says Caris Detect combines comprehensive molecular analysis with advanced AI to help create a future where cancer may be found early, when the chance of cure is best.
Caris Detect reads both DNA and RNA signals
Caris says other approaches evaluate only a limited subset of biomarkers. Caris Detect instead uses ultra-deep Whole Genome Sequencing covering all 23,000 genes, plus Whole Transcriptome Sequencing and advanced AI. Together, these analyze cancer-associated molecular signals in both DNA and RNA.
The company says this design is meant to give a more complete picture of early stage cancer biology. Molecular patterns associated with cancer can be identified from a single blood draw, which Caris says supports detection when cancers are most treatable.
