Hauppauge – – October 12, 2026 -- Patients in Westchester can now book cataract evaluations, glaucoma care and comprehensive eye exams with Susan Fromer, MD, a board-certified ophthalmologist with more than 30 years of experience, at SightMD's Harrison, New York office.
Fromer brings cataract and glaucoma expertise to SightMD's New York team
Fromer has joined SightMD's New York physician team. Her specialties are comprehensive ophthalmology, cataract surgery and glaucoma management, along with the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of eye conditions.
She earned her medical degree with honors in Medicine and Psychiatry from New York University and completed advanced training in glaucoma and anterior segment surgery. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the New York State Society of Ophthalmology.
She has also mentored residents and served as a police surgeon
Fromer has mentored ophthalmology and optometric residents. She also spent many years as a New York City Police Surgeon, caring for officers.
SightMD Chief Medical Officer Brad Kligman, MD, said patients throughout Westchester will benefit from her decades of experience and personalized approach to eye care.
Her stated goal is long-term patient relationships
