Berlin – September 08, 2026 -- Hisense showcased its new AI-driven "Companion Life" vision at IFA 2026 in Berlin, introducing a system called V AIOS designed to embed artificial intelligence into daily household routines.
V AIOS forms the backbone of Hisense's new smart-home operating system
V AIOS is the next evolution of Hisense's VIDAA operating system, built around four core AI functions: sensing, thinking, communicating and acting. The company says these capabilities allow the system to perceive people, devices and surroundings, understand context and intent, communicate naturally between humans and machines, and coordinate content and services on the user's behalf.
The AI Companion Suite targets cooking, laundry and home climate control
Built on top of V AIOS, the AI Companion Suite focuses on three everyday domains: cooking, laundry, and air and energy management. In the kitchen, the system links appliances such as the refrigerator and oven, using stored ingredients and personal food preferences to suggest recipes and guide the cooking process.
For laundry, the same intelligence identifies fabric types and coordinates washing and drying settings to match each garment. In the living space, a device called UR9 acts as a gateway to the connected home, adjusting airflow and indoor conditions based on occupancy and environmental data.
Hisense extends its UEFA sponsorship into a fourth consecutive tournament
Alongside its smart-home announcements, Hisense confirmed a partnership with UEFA EURO 2028, marking its fourth consecutive European Championship sponsorship following deals tied to the 2016, 2020 and 2024 tournaments.
