Berlin – September 16, 2026 -- TCL collected more than 30 international awards at IFA 2026, including seven IFA Innovation Awards and five Global Product Technology Innovation Awards, recognizing new display, AI and smart-home technology.
TCL's SQD-Mini LED TVs win top display honors
The TCL X11L SQD-Mini LED television received Android Authority's IFA Breakthrough 2026 Award and Tom's Guide's Best in Show Award, both citing its next-generation SQD-Mini LED technology. The TCL C8L SQD-Mini LED TV earned an IFA Innovation Award for its display technology and design. The TCL X3 Series OLED+ gaming monitor also won an IFA Innovation Award for its contrast, refresh rate and design.
P80 Ultra smartphone and RayNeo glasses stand out
In mobile devices, the ultra-thin TCL P80 series received Android Authority's Best of IFA 2026 award, while the flagship P80 Ultra smartphone won a separate IFA Innovation Award for its camera system, display and design. Among smart glasses, RayNeo iO Smart Glasses took an IFA Innovation Award for their built-in BB assistant, and RayNeo GT Max AR Glasses won both an IFA Innovation Award and a Global Product Technology Innovation Award for what TCL describes as the first Dolby Vision-certified AR experience.
AI-driven home appliances add to the tally
TCL's connected-home lineup also picked up honors: the TCL Solar air conditioner series, the TCL TwinMag Prime Fresh refrigerator series, and the TCL heyAiMe family companion robot each received a Global Product Technology Innovation Award. The TCL 5G AI CPE X5 router won an IFA Innovation Award for its agentic features.
New industry standards accompany the awards
TCL and TÜV Rheinland jointly published an industry report on SQD-Mini LED displays, outlining a framework for evaluating display performance under real-world viewing conditions. TCL also received what it calls the first SGS Natural Light Visual Comfort certification, based on a standard developed jointly with SGS.
