Cypress, Calif. – October 15, 2026 -- Albany Park has relaunched as a sofa brand that builds every sofa to order in its own factory and ships it in seven days, with the delivery window shown by ZIP code before the customer orders.
The factory is in El Florido, Baja California, Mexico. Albany Park has been owned by furniture manufacturer Exemplis since 2022.
Kova offers two looks and three comfort levels
The best-selling Kova is a modular sofa that comes in two styles: Kova Box, the tailored look, and Kova Pillow, the relaxed one. Every Kova is built in the customer's choice of soft, medium, or firm comfort.
If the comfort isn't right, a white-glove technician will exchange the cushions in the customer's home at no cost. The offer covers one free exchange within 60 days of delivery. The comfort choice and the exchange are available on Kova now and are coming to the brand's Barton and Lido collections.
Albany Park's own workers build each sofa from frame to inspection
According to the company, its own people build the frame, make the cushions, upholster the sofa, and inspect it before it ships. Exemplis has worked this way for thirty years, making furniture for offices, universities, and hospitals in its own factories with more than 2,000 craftspeople.
CEO Paul DeVries said the brand was rebuilt so customers no longer have to choose between buying off the shelf and waiting for something made for them.
Pricing rules rule out inflated reference prices and perpetual markdowns
Albany Park has published its pricing rules. They exclude inflated reference prices and perpetual markdowns. Sales are limited to a few real events a year, capped at 25% off, with end dates that never move.
