Rancho Santa Fe, California – – September 15, 2026 -- The Bridges at Rancho Santa Fe has completed a $14 million renovation of its Clubhouse, unveiling reimagined dining, gathering spaces, and member amenities at the private golf club.
The project, designed by Hatch Design Group and Ohana Architects, blends the club's original Tuscan architecture with contemporary Mediterranean design elements.
The Dining Room now features century-old reclaimed white oak floors
The Terrace has been outfitted with radiant-heated stone floors, while the Club Bar received sound-attenuation panels to improve acoustics in social spaces.
Glass walls now connect the Clubhouse to the golf course views
Ohana Architects Principal Rocky Arnold said removing visual barriers and integrating glass walls opened up sweeping views, creating a seamless connection between the Clubhouse and the surrounding landscape. The expanded Living Room Terrace, along with new fireplaces and gathering nooks, is designed to function as a year-round venue for dining, socializing and private events.
A fully renovated commercial kitchen anchors the new culinary program
Executive Chef Alex Bloom, a Culinary Institute of America graduate who previously worked at Restaurant Daniel and Eleven Madison Park, now runs a farm-to-table menu sourced from the club's onsite farm. Level 2 Sommelier Brian Green pairs the menu with the club's wine program.
Board President Brian O'Callaghan says the investment covers approved additions
O'Callaghan said the $14 million total investment, including approved additions, reflects a holistic approach tied to the club's strategic plan. COO and General Manager Jim Miller said member feedback on the renovation has been overwhelmingly positive.
The Bridges at Rancho Santa Fe sits within a 550-acre private community in North County San Diego and features a championship golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones II.
