Fort Lauderdale – October 19, 2026 -- Shoppers in Tampa Bay can now browse furniture, appliances, closets, bath, fitness gear and connected home tech under one roof at CITY HOME's new Wesley Chapel showroom, which spans more than 120,000 square feet.
It is the first CITY HOME showroom built from the ground up under the new name, and the company's second fully converted CITY HOME location. The retailer switched from CITY Furniture to CITY HOME in June, and Wesley Chapel brings its Tampa/Sarasota footprint to four showrooms.
The store goes well beyond sofas and mattresses
Alongside furniture and mattresses, the showroom stocks appliances, closets, home electronics, bath, fitness, kitchens and connected home solutions. Services include interior design, custom cabinetry and connected home installation.
CEO Andrew Koenig said the goal is a destination where customers can solve more of their home needs in one place, with an experience unlike traditional furniture shopping.
A four-day opening drew thousands of visitors
The Grand Opening ran four days and featured more than $90,000 in giveaways, including a Tesla Model 3. The winner will be announced in the coming months. Thousands of guests attended, and the company reports full parking lots throughout the weekend.
More Florida showrooms are planned through 2028
Wesley Chapel follows the opening of the company's Sarasota showroom in 2025. The family-owned retailer, which has been in business for 55 years, plans additional showroom openings and CITY HOME conversions across Florida through 2028.
