EcoFlow TITAN Series: Whole-Home Backup From $2,000

EcoFlow TITAN Series: Whole-Home Backup From $2,000

Seattle – October 13, 2026 -- EcoFlow's new TITAN Series, on sale from Oct. 13 on the EcoFlow website, offers whole-home battery backup starting in the $2,000 range for a standalone unit. The lineup has three models: TITAN 5000 Plus, TITAN 5000 and TITAN 5000 Classic.

The flagship runs a 3-ton air conditioner without a soft-starter

TITAN 5000 Plus delivers 7.2kW of output from a 5kWh battery. That is enough to run a 3-ton central air conditioner, a refrigerator, a TV and lights at the same time, with power to spare. In homes with solar, output rises to 10kW with EcoFlow's X-Fusion 2.0 PV Boost.

The battery uses a 40160 tabless 2C LFP cell, which EcoFlow calls an industry first. Capacity scales in 5kWh steps from 5kWh up to 30kWh. Solar panels and generators can extend runtime during long outages.

The system buys cheap power and sells stored energy at peak

Paired with the EcoFlow Smart Home Panel 10, TITAN 5000 Plus and TITAN 5000 work with the grid and with existing third-party rooftop solar. The main electric panel does not need replacing. The system prioritizes solar first, stores surplus in the battery second and draws grid power last.

TITAN 5000 Plus runs on EcoFlow's OASIS 3.0 smart energy ecosystem and uses forecast-based modeling. Time-of-Use automation in the EcoFlow App draws electricity when grid rates are lowest and discharges stored energy during peak pricing windows.

Backup power kicks in within 20 milliseconds of a blackout

With Smart Home Panel 10, the system supports 50A whole-home current across 10 circuits. During an outage it switches to battery power in under 20 milliseconds, keeping Wi-Fi routers and water pumps running. Everything is monitored through the EcoFlow App.

EcoFlow pre-assembles breakers and pre-wires cables before shipping. The company says this cuts field labor by up to 80% and speeds up installation up to 8x compared with standard home backup systems. Installation can be completed in as little as seven days, with about two hours of on-site work.

Inside, a 200V high-voltage architecture and Silicon Carbide components reduce current draw and thermal stress. Brian Essenmacher, Head of U.S. Business Development at EcoFlow, said households have traditionally had to trade off power against cost and complexity.

TITAN 5000 Classic costs about $5,000 installed with a panel

TITAN 5000 and TITAN 5000 Plus are priced in the $3,000 range as standalone units and the $7,000 range with panel and installation. TITAN 5000 Classic is priced in the $2,000 range standalone and the $5,000 range with panel and installation. Additional pricing details will be available on Nov. 3.
