Hoofddorp – September 12, 2026 -- EZVIZ used its IFA showcase in Hall 1.2 to launch a new lineup of AI-powered smart access devices, including video doorbells, video intercoms and gate openers aimed at European households.
The EP8 Ultra doorbell adds an AI-driven screen for building entrances
The EP8 Ultra, which launched shortly before IFA, features a dual-lens camera that shows both visitors and packages -- a rarity on the market, according to EZVIZ. The device also includes an interactive screen with AI-generated characters and on-device facial recognition for familiar faces, designed to save energy while targeting entryways like apartment corridors.
The HP7 Battery intercom drops the need for wiring
Building on the existing HP7 and HP7 Pro intercoms, the new HP7 Battery model runs on battery power with solar charging, removing the need for cabling or manual maintenance. EZVIZ says the wireless design addresses installation concerns that have kept some households from adopting remote unlocking and access management systems.
New gate openers cover swing and sliding gates across Europe
EZVIZ added the HG1 250 Pro for articulated-arm swing gates and the HG3 300 Pro for piston-driven swing gates, joining the existing HG2 600 Pro for sliding gates. Together, the three models are built to fit most gate types and weights found across Europe, with self-installation intended to make the systems accessible to more homes.
EZVIZ received a Digital Trends Publisher Award at IFA
The company's smart access lineup won the award during the show. Jasmine Zhu, product manager at EZVIZ Europe, said the goal is for European users to easily find an access solution that delivers convenience the moment they step through their door.
