New Century, Kan. – September 18, 2026 -- As homeowners winterize furnaces, gutters and vehicles, Morgan's Repellent is urging property owners to add rodent prevention to the fall checklist, warning that most standard homeowners insurance policies do not cover rodent damage.

The University of Minnesota Extension has reported an uptick in mouse and squirrel activity as fall approaches, noting that mice seek warm, safe spaces in sheds, garages, campers and homes. The products are marketed for 90-day duration when used as directed in enclosed and semi-enclosed spaces such as garages, attics, sheds, barns, storage areas, RVs, campers, vehicles and equipment.
