Maple Grove – October 02, 2026 -- Craftsman's Choice Inc., a Minnesota exterior remodeling contractor serving Twin Cities homeowners since 1998, has relocated its headquarters to 10550 County Road 81 in Maple Grove, Minnesota, where it is building a new showroom set to open in mid-February 2027, ahead of the spring remodeling season.
The showroom will display full-size siding, roofing and decking combinations instead of small samples
The new space will feature James Hardie siding and trim, Marvin windows and doors, GAF roofing systems, and TimberTech decking and railing. Rather than relying on traditional sample racks, individual sections will show different siding profiles, colors and trim combinations alongside roofing, window, decking, railing, soffit and fascia options.
"Our goal is to create a space where homeowners can visualize the entire exterior of their home before making these decisions," said Ben Juncker, owner and president of Craftsman's Choice. He noted that a small siding, roofing or decking sample can only tell homeowners so much about how a finished project will actually look.
A large consultation area will let project teams review designs next to physical products
The showroom will include a dedicated area where Craftsman's Choice project consultants can go over project photographs, proposals and exterior design concepts with homeowners while keeping physical materials nearby for comparison. Construction is currently underway, with completion targeted for mid-February 2027.
The company has worked with James Hardie siding for more than 25 years
Craftsman's Choice was founded in Minnesota in 1998 by experienced siding installers and became the state's original James Hardie Preferred Remodeler in 2000. It now holds James Hardie Elite Alliance Contractor status and continues to focus on complete siding replacements, including lap siding, board and batten, shakes, trim, soffit and fascia work, in addition to Marvin windows and doors, GAF roofing and TimberTech decking.
The Maple Grove location will serve as the company's Minnesota headquarters while Craftsman's Choice expands operations into southeastern Wisconsin and the greater Milwaukee area.
