BERLIN -- September 01, 2026 -- Yarbo will show the finished version of its M Series garden robot in person for the first time at IFA 2026, running September 4 through 8 in Berlin, bringing a modular lawn machine within reach of ordinary homeowners rather than just large estates. The company built the compact M Series for standard residential yards, pairing it with its larger Y Series aimed at big properties. Visitors can test the robot at two exhibition spaces during the show, H9-122 indoors and OCG-137 outdoors, where Yarbo will run interactive demos of the machine swapping between garden tasks.
The M Series trades bulk for a smaller footprint that Yarbo said makes it easier to maneuver around tighter residential yards. A tracked chassis gives the robot grip on wet grass, dirt, pavers and mixed surfaces, letting it climb slopes of roughly 35 degrees, or a 70 percent grade, and step over curbs or ledges up to about 2 inches high. The machine can also tow light loads of up to about 220 pounds, enough to pull small carts, tools or future attachments across a yard.
Setup Shrinks to About 30 Minutes
Yarbo removed the need for traditional perimeter wires in the M Series, relying instead on what it calls Data Center Gen2, NetRTK technology and an optional LiDAR sensor to handle positioning, mapping and basic setup in roughly half an hour. A wireless fast-charging system takes the robot from 10 percent to 90 percent battery in about 65 minutes. Combined with auto-recharge and task-resume features, the M20 and M20i models can mow up to 1.5 acres in a single day without a homeowner needing to intervene.
