Alexandria – October 17, 2026 -- Five Guys has released its first docuseries, the five-episode "On the Line: The World Burger Games," on Amazon Prime Video in North America, Europe and Australia.
The series follows crew members from local qualifying rounds around the world to the Five Guys Games championship. It was produced by Full Day Productions in collaboration with Lost Tribe Creative, and Collin Orcutt (Any Given Saturday, Omnivore) is the showrunner.
Eight crew members compete for a $100,000 check
The 2026 finale pitted eight crew members against each other, with Thursday Night Football's Charissa Thompson hosting. She interviewed competitors before and after each event. The grand prize is a $100,000 check.
Contestants took on three events: the potato race, the cheese race and the dressing/QC race. Each one pushes the skills behind every Five Guys order. Any Five Guys employee can enter.
Jonathan Martinez wins the title and championship belt
The championship ended May 13 at The Theater at MGM National Harbor in Maryland. Jonathan Martinez of Poughkeepsie, New York, known to fans as "The Terminator," beat past champions to take the title and the belt.
A thank-you to crew members grows into a global contest
The Murrell family started the Five Guys Games in 2013 to celebrate hardworking crew members. Lost Tribe CEO Jason Saffran described the contest's growth from a small competition on a trade show floor to a global event.
Founder Jerry Murrell said the games began as a thank-you to the people who make Five Guys what it is. Watching crews from across the world compete on a bigger stage, he said, "I honestly don't have words for it."
Full Day Productions President David Chamberlin said the series centers on the people who bring Five Guys to life every day. He cited their pride, dedication and camaraderie.
Three watch parties open to media at Five Guys stores
Five Guys is also hosting media watch parties for local finalists at stores in three U.S. locations. Space is limited, and RSVPs go through a Five Guys contact.
