Cologne – October 30, 2026 -- The new social reality series "Vibes – Find Your Fire" arrives in the ARD Mediathek on November 5, 2026, with ten episodes of 50 minutes each. TV star Motsi Mabuse accompanies nine women who spend twelve days together in a villa on Rhodes.
The participants do not know each other and are at very different points in their lives. What they share is a wish for change, sensuality, closeness to themselves and the courage to give their own needs more room.
Mabuse leads the group with two experts at her side
Mabuse acts as confidante and motivator. She listens, asks questions and pushes the women to look at uncomfortable topics. Clinical psychologist and psychotherapist Hedda Hess and sexological bodyworker Stella Sieger support her.
Participants range from 33 to 65 years old
Danni (48), a single mother of five and a known reality personality, wants to lower the walls she has built against prejudice. Model Sara (36) hopes to let real closeness in. Marys (33), a model and mother of two, looks for her path between family and career dreams.
Alex (38) questions her use of Botox and filters and takes on her negative body image. Antje (65) lives with a serious illness and wants to stop putting her own needs last. Franzi (44) wants a stronger connection to her body and to rediscover her sexuality.
The format drops competition for shared experience
The show is neither a contest nor a classic coaching format. It follows life in the villa, challenges, conversations and physical experiences. Topics include body image, sexuality, anger, shame, relationships and personal boundaries. WDR entertainment chief Karin Kuhn says the focus is on solidarity and self-discovery rather than rivalry.
The villa also houses an unusual "roommate": a lamp called "V", a talking vulva, which comments on events with humor. After twelve days, Mabuse asks each woman whether she is still the same person or whether the show has reignited her inner fire.
Where and when to watch
The ARD Mediathek releases three to four episodes per week from November 5, 2026. On the linear channel ONE, episodes air from 9:45 p.m. on November 12 (three episodes), November 19 (three) and November 26 (four). WDR Fernsehen shows the series weekly from January 8, 2027, at 11:30 p.m. The show's Instagram channel @vibes_findyourfire shares more information from October 22, 2026.
WDR produces the series with FLOW media company Köln GmbH. Women developed it, and an all-female team worked behind the camera and in editing.
