Joko's AI Shopping App, Big in Europe, Launches in the U.S.

New York – September 21, 2026 -- Joko USA, Inc. has launched Joko App in the United States, an AI-powered shopping assistant that compares prices, tracks spending, and delivers cash back in a single app.

The app is now available nationwide through the App Store and Google Play.

The app already has 6 million users across Europe

Joko has generated more than $50 million in revenue from over 6 million European consumers. It works with more than 10,000 partner merchants, including Amazon, Nike, Sephora, T-Mobile, DoorDash, Walgreens, Apple, and Expedia, with users viewing more than 2 million products per day.

A new AI feature called Juno powers product discovery

Juno, Joko's AI shopping assistant, helps users decide what to buy, compares options, finds lower prices, and moves them toward checkout. To build it, Joko compiled a catalog of more than 50 million products from over 40,000 merchants and drew on more than $50 billion in transaction data.

For merchants, Joko reports a 7.8% average click-to-purchase conversion rate and a 14x return on ad spend.

Executives say AI shopping tools rarely reward the purchase itself

Citing McKinsey's ConsumerWise research, Joko notes that 68% of U.S. consumers used at least one AI tool in the past three months. An Adobe study found 39% of U.S. shoppers have used generative AI for online shopping, mostly for research and deal-finding rather than earning rewards on the purchase.

"For too long, online shopping hasn't lived up to what people actually need," said Xavier Starkloff, cofounder and CEO of Joko. He added that Joko aims to combine AI-driven product discovery with real savings at checkout.

Starkloff said Joko is positioning itself as a shopping-focused alternative to general-purpose AI tools like ChatGPT and Gemini entering the retail space.
