Seven Indie Games Land on iPhone and iPad for App Store Week

Worldwide – October 21, 2026 -- Seven acclaimed indie games, including Sifu, Vampire Crawlers and No Man's Sky, are now available to download or pre-order on iPhone and iPad as the App Store kicks off Indie Games Week. The App Store will spotlight the titles all week with daily features and curated collections.

Carson Oliver, Apple's head of App Store Worldwide, said the store "gives bold ideas a global stage," whether the games come from solo developers or growing studios.

Sifu brings its kung fu revenge story to touchscreens

Sifu is a stylish third-person brawler that follows a young kung fu student on a path of revenge. Enemies attack simultaneously, so players must parry strikes, chain combos and use the objects around them as weapons. The iPhone and iPad version comes with custom-tuned touch controls, a reworked camera system and full controller support.

Vampire Crawlers swaps bullet-dodging for deck building

Vampire Crawlers is a gothic card battler with dark humor, spun off from the hit Vampire Survivors. Players fight skeletons, bats and other creeps by finding card combos, uncovering secret relics and relying on the luck of the draw during dungeon runs.

No Man's Sky arrives on mobile October 28

Hello Games' space odyssey makes its iPhone and iPad debut on October 28, after a decade of continuous evolution. The mobile version includes every major content expansion to date, including the latest Cosmos update, which lets players command their own space stations. Its infinite, procedurally generated universe is rendered entirely at runtime, and players can explore, trade, fight and survive across an interconnected galaxy.

Four more indie picks round out the lineup
  • Little Kitty, Big City: guide a curious feline through an open-world metropolis.
  • 9 Kings: assemble card armies to conquer royal adversaries in a strategic kingdom builder.
  • Dome Keeper: dig deep to fend off foes in an alien mining simulator.
  • Yes, Your Grace 2: Snowfall: make agonizing moral choices to save a crumbling empire.

App Store editors have also curated an overview of indie titles for iPhone and iPad, and a separate indie games guide covers standout picks for Mac.
