Ahorn Camp and Erwin Hymer Group Announce Long-Term Motorhome Partnership

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – July 13, 2025 – Two major names in the recreational vehicle industry are joining forces to raise the bar for motorhome quality and innovation. The family-owned company Ahorn Camp and the Erwin Hymer Group (EHG) have announced their cooperation and the signing of a long-term production agreement.

At the heart of this partnership is the production of Ahorn Camp motorhomes and camper vans at the EHG plant in San Casciano, one of the most advanced recreation vehicle manufacturing facilities in Europe. The agreement merges Ahorn Camp’s innovative approach with EHG’s industrial precision to deliver high-quality vehicles that meet modern consumer demands.

Blending innovation with industrial excellence

By partnering with EHG, Ahorn Camp gains access to one of the industry's most advanced manufacturing infrastructures, without compromising its design philosophy or flexibility.

As Alexander Reichmann, CEO of Ahorn Camp, explained: “The new model range of Ahorn Camp is defined by state-of-the-art technology, well-thought-out design and the ultimate in functionality. With this agreement, our customers will benefit from first-class manufacturing processes and the high-quality production of the Erwin Hymer Group.”

The vehicles will be built exclusively on the new Master Chassis by Renault, underlining the company’s focus on performance and reliability. Customers will be able to purchase the new models through the existing Ahorn Camp dealer network and Renault sales partners.

Strategic benefits for all parties involved

The cooperation doesn’t just benefit Ahorn Camp. EHG and Renault are also positioned to gain from this strengthened alliance, creating new growth and development opportunities across the European RV market.

Jan de Haas, CSO of the Erwin Hymer Group, highlighted the strategic advantage: “The agreement with Ahorn Camp will boost our collaboration with the joint partner Renault and open up unique development and growth opportunities for all participating companies in the European motorhome and camper van market.”

This multi-brand partnership is expected to set new standards for both quality and market reach in the industry.

New models debuting at Caravan Salon 2025

The agreement, which has been signed for a five-year term and is renewable, will see production of the new Ahorn Camp vehicles begin in September 2025. Fans and customers won’t have to wait long to see them: the new models will make their official premiere at Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, taking place from August 29 to September 7, 2025.

This collaboration promises exciting advances in camper van and motorhome design—offering travelers not just a vehicle, but a lifestyle upgrade built on quality, innovation, and dependability.
