This sleek, three-door interpretation of a BMW Touring isn’t just a showpiece—it’s a high-performance, handcrafted collector’s item that will soon be available in an ultra-limited series.

The BMW Concept Speedtop reimagines the classic Touring design through the lens of sportiness, exclusivity, and meticulous craftsmanship. Inspired by the elegance of a shooting brake, the Concept Speedtop introduces a unique silhouette and design profile rarely seen in the automotive world.
“A true BMW exudes dynamism and elegance even when it’s standing still,” says Adrian van Hooydonk, Head of BMW Group Design. “And that’s also the case with our new concept car. The BMW Concept Speedtop is characterised first of all by its profile. It is very unique in the automotive industry. In this way, we have created an exclamation mark for our entire lineup of vehicles, especially for the Touring models.”
From its shark-nose front end and illuminated kidney grille to its muscular shoulders and dramatic roofline, the Concept Speedtop turns heads. The color gradient from “Floating Sunstone Maroon” to “Floating Sundown Silver” flows seamlessly from the hood to the rear spoiler, enhancing the car’s bold proportions and dynamic presence.
Luxury Inside and Out
BMW’s signature blend of innovation and tradition shines in the Concept Speedtop’s interior. Built for indulgent weekend escapes for two, it features a luxurious two-tone leather design that mirrors the exterior’s striking palette.

Further elevating its exclusivity, BMW partnered with Italian leather artisans Schedoni to craft bespoke luggage that fits perfectly behind the seats. “Two storage areas with leather straps behind the seats provide space for two of Schedoni’s made-to-measure bags. The bags were designed exclusively for the Concept to fit in with its color and material concept. A matching weekend bag can also be accommodated in the trunk.”
Unmatched Performance Under the Hood
Beyond aesthetics, the Concept Speedtop is a performance powerhouse. It houses the most powerful V8 engine in BMW’s current lineup, making it a thrill to drive as well as admire.
“Last year, the presentation of the BMW Concept Skytop at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este on Lake Como generated great enthusiasm among connoisseurs and automotive enthusiasts,” says Bernd Körber, Senior Vice President BMW Brand and Product Management. “This led to a strictly limited production run of 50 units. Thanks to this positive response, this year we have decided to also offer the BMW Concept Speedtop in a limited production series of 70 units. This extraordinary vehicle is now available for order. We are pleased to be able to offer collectors and enthusiasts another exclusive model.”

Production of the BMW Concept Speedtop will be limited to just 70 units, each crafted with the precision and care of BMW’s Dingolfing Manufactory workshop. Orders are now open, but only the most dedicated collectors and enthusiasts will get the chance to own this rare blend of beauty and performance.
