BYD Expands its Presence in Northern Germany with Acquisition of Two Stores in the Hamburg Area

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – Dec. 29, 2024 – BYD, a global leader in new energy vehicles (NEVs), is strengthening its commitment to the German market by acquiring two stores in the Hamburg metropolitan region from its sales partner, SPT Avior. Effective December 1st, 2024, BYD now operates the BYD Store in Sittensen and the BYD Pioneer Store in Hamburg, further expanding its retail network in Northern Germany.

A Strategic Move for Growth

This acquisition marks a significant step in BYD's expansion strategy in Germany. By taking direct control of these key locations, BYD aims to enhance brand visibility, strengthen customer relationships, and provide a seamless sales and service experience in a crucial market.

BYD Retail GmbH to Manage Operations

The two acquired stores will be integrated into BYD Retail GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of BYD Automotive GmbH. This subsidiary also manages BYD stores in Stuttgart and Frankfurt, ensuring consistent brand experience and operational efficiency across all locations.
