SHERIDAN, WYOMING – Mar. 5, 2025 – Cadillac continues to redefine the luxury SUV segment with the introduction of the all-electric 2026 ESCALADE IQL. Building upon the success of the ESCALADE IQ, the IQL offers enhanced passenger and cargo capacity, catering to customers seeking unparalleled space and sophistication.
Expanding the Escalade Legacy
“Escalade has been the best-selling luxury full-size SUV in North America since 2014. The ESCALADE IQL is an important addition to the Escalade franchise and the Cadillac portfolio,” said John Roth, vice president, Global Cadillac. “With the ESCALADE IQL, Cadillac now offers a full lineup of internal combustion and all-electric Escalade options for our customers, no matter the propulsion.”
The 2026 ESCALADE IQL is designed to maximize spaciousness, providing ample room for passengers across all three rows while offering substantial storage both behind the third row and in the secure eTrunk. This new model will be available globally, including in the U.S. and Canada, with production commencing in mid-2025 at General Motors’ Factory ZERO plant in Detroit.
Design and Luxurious Interior
Exterior Enhancements
The ESCALADE IQL boasts a commanding presence with a longer silhouette compared to the ESCALADE IQ, which allows for increased third-row space and additional rear storage. The large eTrunk under the hood provides an extra 12.2 cubic feet of secure storage.
Interior Luxury and Technology
The interior mirrors the tech-forward and luxurious features of the ESCALADE IQ, including the available Executive Second Row package. This package combines aesthetics with functionality, featuring stowable tray tables, 12.6-inch-diagonal personal screens, a rear command center, dual wireless phone charging pads, and massaging, heating, and ventilated seats with 14-way power adjustment and headrest speakers. “The ESCALADE IQL builds on our iconic Escalade DNA, with a commanding profile offering additional cargo capacity. Brimming with the luxurious features and design found on the ESCALADE IQ, the ESCALADE IQL is another showcase of Cadillac’s artful integration of innovation,” said Craig Sass, Cadillac Design. The third row benefits from over 4 inches of additional legroom (36.7" vs. 32.3") and an extra inch of headroom (38.2" vs. 37.2"), enhancing passenger comfort throughout the cabin.
