Blending the charm of a legendary icon with accessible hybrid technology, this revival brings the spirit of the original 500 back to its roots in Turin.
A Symbolic Comeback for FIAT’s Icon
On the anniversary of the Fiat 500’s original debut, FIAT is turning the spotlight on its heritage while forging ahead into the future. The launch of the 500 Hybrid at Mirafiori marks a pivotal moment—not only for the brand but also for Italian automotive pride.
Production is scheduled to begin this November, but the factory is already buzzing with activity as pre-production models roll off the line. With 5,000 units targeted by year-end, the initiative follows the roadmap presented by Stellantis to the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy in December 2024.

The new Fiat 500 Hybrid will be available in three configurations:
- Hatchback: classic and city-friendly
- 3+1: with a rear-hinged third door for easier access
- Cabrio: a standout convertible for open-air driving
All variants feature the 1.0L FireFly three-cylinder mild-hybrid engine, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Built entirely in Italy, the powertrain offers optimal fuel efficiency and driving ease, making it ideal for daily use in urban settings.
