SHERIDAN, WYOMING – Jan. 20, 2025 – Dacia, the renowned automotive brand celebrated for its robust and affordable vehicles, has announced the appointment of Frank Marotte as its new VP, Dacia Brand, Marketing, Sales & Operations. Effective February 1, 2025, Marotte will assume his new role and join the Dacia Management Committee, reporting directly to Dacia CEO, Denis Le Vot.

Marotte Brings Decades of Automotive Expertise to Dacia

Frank Marotte boasts an impressive 30-year career in the automotive industry. A graduate of Ecole Centrale Paris, he began his journey at Peugeot in 1993, holding various management positions both in France and internationally. His leadership acumen and strategic vision led him to become Head of Product Planning at PSA Peugeot Citroën in 2008, where he spearheaded developments across multiple vehicle segments.

In 2013, Marotte transitioned to Toyota Motor as Director of product planning for Europe, Russia, and the Middle East. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in shaping Toyota's product portfolio in Europe and served as a member of the Toyota Motor Europe Executive Committee.

Further solidifying his expertise, Marotte was appointed President and Managing Director of Toyota France in July 2019. In this capacity, he was responsible for the strategic direction and growth of both the Toyota and Lexus brands within the French market.
