Colm Dillane, celebrated for his whimsical storytelling and daring designs, transformed the Mercedes-Benz CLA into a vibrant art piece during his Spring/Summer 2026 fashion show. As part of the “Class of Creators” initiative, Dillane had complete freedom to apply his vision, creating a car that radiates playful energy and creative spirit.
Among the standout features of the handcrafted superhero car are:
- Turbine wings and playful balloon details
- A front-mounted winch and rally-inspired roof rack
- A nostalgic slingshot reflecting Dillane’s childhood memories
- Patchwork-style elements showcasing KidSuper’s signature “Kissing Face” motif
In a nod to Mercedes-Benz’s design heritage, the art piece includes wheels inspired by the futuristic 1996 F 200 concept car and side mirrors referencing the classic 300 SL. As Dillane describes it, his creation is “a magical car symbolizing boundless creativity and enthusiasm.”

Debuting alongside the art car, KidSuper presented a 13-piece capsule collection that channels the same bold vision. Scheduled for release in September 2025, the collection fuses KidSuper’s streetwear flair with Mercedes-Benz’s timeless aesthetic, celebrating both craftsmanship and creativity.
