SHERIDAN, WYOMING – Dec. 27, 2024 – Lancia is set to steal the spotlight at the 101st Brussels Motor Show, marking a significant step in the brand's ambitious Renaissance. From January 11th to 19th, attendees will witness the unveiling of the New Ypsilon in hybrid and electric configurations, alongside the exhilarating Ypsilon Rally 4 HF, signaling Lancia's resurgence in the European premium market.

The Ypsilon Rally 4 HF: A Champion's Legacy

The Ypsilon Rally 4 HF takes center stage, embodying Lancia's rich motorsport heritage. This rally-bred machine boasts a powerful 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder engine delivering 212 HP, a 5-speed dog ring gearbox, and a mechanical limited-slip differential. Designed for aspiring young drivers, the front-wheel-drive configuration promises agility and high performance, perfect for those seeking to make their mark in the thrilling world of rally racing.

"Trofeo Lancia Rally": Igniting the Passion for Motorsport

The Ypsilon Rally 4 HF also heralds the launch of the "Trofeo Lancia Rally," an exciting new championship within the 2025 Italian Rally Championship. With six races and a prize pool of approximately €300,000, the "Trofeo Lancia Rally" offers a platform for rising stars to showcase their talent. The overall champion will even have the opportunity to drive the official Lancia Corse HF team's Ypsilon Rally 4 HF, led by motorsport veteran Eugenio Franzetti. Priced at €74,500, the Ypsilon Rally 4 HF can be ordered through the Stellantis Motorsport Racing Shop.

Miki Biasion: A Legend Returns

Lancia enlisted the expertise of rally legend Miki Biasion to fine-tune the Ypsilon Rally 4 HF. Biasion, a two-time World Rally Champion with Lancia in the late 80s, brings his invaluable experience to ensure the car's performance lives up to the brand's legacy. He will be present at the Brussels Motor Show on January 10th to officially unveil the Ypsilon Rally 4 HF, adding a touch of history and excitement to the event.

The New Lancia Ypsilon: Elegance Redefined

Beyond the rally stage, the New Lancia Ypsilon shines as a beacon of elegance and innovation in the premium B-segment. Offered in three distinct versions – the New Ypsilon, the New Ypsilon LX, and the EDIZIONE CASSINA – the Ypsilon caters to a diverse range of tastes and preferences. Each trim level embodies Lancia's commitment to sustainable luxury, culminating in the EDIZIONE CASSINA, a true expression of design, comfort, and well-being.

Design and Technology in Harmony

The New Ypsilon draws inspiration from Lancia's iconic models, featuring sinuous lines, round taillights reminiscent of the Lancia Stratos, and the signature "chalice" grille reimagined with LED lights. It is also the first Stellantis production car to feature the S.A.L.A. system, a smart virtual interface that enhances the driving experience. Furthermore, the New Ypsilon boasts best-in-class specifications, including a 10.25" display, advanced parking assistance, and Level 2 Autonomous Driving as standard.

Hybrid and Electric Powertrains

The New Ypsilon offers both hybrid and electric powertrain options, showcasing Lancia's commitment to environmental responsibility. The hybrid version features a latest-generation 100-hp (74-kW) 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder engine with 48V technology, delivering efficiency and reliability. The 100% electric version boasts a 156-hp/115-kW power unit and a 51-kWh battery, providing a range of up to 403 km (WLTP combined cycle) and fast charging capabilities.

Lancia's European Expansion

The Brussels Motor Show also highlights Lancia's ongoing expansion in Europe. Since returning to Belgium and Luxembourg in September, Lancia has established ten showrooms and fourteen service points. This expansion is part of Lancia's Renaissance strategy, which includes a network of 70 new showrooms in major European cities, with a focus on quality, electrification, sustainability, and an innovative sales model.

Lancia: A Legacy of Timeless Elegance

With a rich history spanning 118 years, Lancia has become synonymous with Italian elegance and automotive excellence. From the iconic Flaminia and Aurelia B24 Spider to the high-performance Delta, Stratos, and 037, Lancia continues to inspire and captivate. The brand's Renaissance, marked by the launch of the New Ypsilon and a 10-year strategic plan, reaffirms its commitment to innovation, timeless design, sustainability, and customer-centricity.
