SHERIDAN, WYOMING – Mar. 6, 2025 – The collaboration between Leasys and Stellantis continues to strengthen as they expand their initiative to recondition and re-rent vehicles returned at the end of their leasing period. With an average of 1,500 vehicles processed annually, this initiative takes place at the SUSTAINera Circular Economy Hub in Mirafiori, Turin, reinforcing their commitment to sustainability and resource efficiency.
Sustainable Mobility Through Reconditioning
Leasys, a mobility company of Stellantis and Crédit Agricole Personal Finance & Mobility, is further solidifying its strategy in support of the circular economy. This effort, initially introduced in 2023 with the launch of the RE-USE product, focuses on offering long-term rental solutions for corporate used vehicles, ensuring extended vehicle lifespan and reduced environmental impact.
The reconditioning process is carried out in a dedicated 5,000-square-meter facility at the SUSTAINera Circular Economy Hub. Vehicles undergo a comprehensive inspection followed by targeted mechanical and bodywork interventions. Additionally, the re-rental fleet is subjected to regular checks at Stellantis-authorized workshops, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for customers.
Driving the Circular Economy Forward
The partnership between Leasys and Stellantis SUSTAINera aligns with their mutual goal of promoting the circular economy by extending vehicle lifespans, minimizing waste, and reducing new resource consumption. The initiative enables customers to access high-quality, used vehicles at competitive rates while also contributing to a more sustainable automotive industry.
To date, over 1,500 customers have opted for the Leasys RE-USE re-rental solution in Italy. This model provides a cost-effective alternative to traditional car ownership, emphasizing affordability without compromising on quality.
