Renault Group Appoints Christian Stein as Chief Communications Officer

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – September 15, 2024 – Renault Group today announced the appointment of Christian Stein as its new Chief Communications Officer, effective September 16th. Stein, a seasoned industry veteran with extensive experience in sales, marketing, and communications, will lead the Group's communication efforts across all its activities.

Stein's appointment comes at a pivotal time for Renault Group as it accelerates its strategic transformation and embraces innovation in new ranges and technologies. Luca de Meo, CEO of Renault Group, expressed his confidence in Stein's ability to navigate the company through this period of profound change in the automotive industry.

Drawing on his extensive experience in the industry, Christian will play a key role in continuing the Group's transformation into the most progressive European automotive company in an industry undergoing profound change," said de Meo.

Stein brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He began his career at PSA in 1991, where he held various positions in sales and marketing across Belgium, France, Spain, and the UK. In 2011, he joined the Volkswagen Group as Global Marketing Director for SEAT, later becoming Global Communications and Public Affairs Director for SEAT S.A. and its SEAT and CUPRA brands.

In November 2020, Stein returned to France to join Renault Group as Director of Brand Communications. Most recently, he served as Director of Revenue & Customer Experience at Ampere, Renault Group's electric vehicle and software entity.
