
SHERIDAN, WYOMING – Feb. 17, 2025 – BWT Alpine Formula One Team and Eni have announced a multi-year partnership, marking Eni's return to Formula One after over two decades. Renault Group and Eni will collaborate on various initiatives, including testing new bio-gasoline products for racing and exploring synergies in sustainable mobility solutions.
Historic Partnership and Return to Formula One
This agreement signifies Eni's return to an Enstone-affiliated team, reminiscent of their involvement with Benetton in 2000. The partnership will feature Enilive, Eni's brand, at select races throughout the 24-race season.

Branding and Collaboration
Eni's branding will be prominently displayed on the A525, BWT Alpine's car for the 2025 FIA Formula 1 World Championship, as well as on drivers' race overalls and helmets. This will be unveiled at the F175 Launch Event at the O2 Arena, London, on February 18. Eni's presence will extend to the pit-stop crew and the entire BWT Alpine ecosystem, including a future collaboration on fuel technology innovations and bio-gasoline development.
Focus on Decarbonization and Future Opportunities
Beyond Formula 1, Renault Group and Eni have agreed to explore and develop opportunities for collaboration in decarbonizing the transport sector. This includes potential joint ventures in electric mobility infrastructure, smart mobility services, and energy supply solutions. A concrete example of this collaboration is Enjoy, Enilive’s car-sharing service, acquiring Renault vehicles.
