Hosting duties were in the capable hands of Gerry Scotti, joined by special guest Noemi, who helped create a warm, welcoming atmosphere on stage. For those who missed the live show, the event will be broadcast on Canale 5 in the coming days, bringing the celebration to homes across the country.
Shaggy celebrates 30 years of “Boombastic”
A major highlight of the evening was Shaggy’s exhilarating performance celebrating 30 years of his global hit “Boombastic.” The Jamaican icon surprised the crowd by driving onto the stage in a Fiat Grande Panda, merging musical nostalgia with modern Italian style.
To mark the milestone, Shaggy recently released a fresh version of his classic hit titled “Boombastic (Fantastic)”—complete with a new music video featuring the Fiat Grande Panda. It was a perfect harmony of past and present, reggae rhythm and Italian design.
More than music: a celebration of Turin's soul
FIAT, as the main partner of the event, worked closely with the City of Turin and concert organizer Friends & Partners to turn this night into a tribute to the city's cultural heartbeat. Beloved locations like the Lingotto building and Piazza Vittorio were center stage as music filled the streets.
The atmosphere was pure joy: “a joyful, colorful musical journey, filled with emotion and energy, inviting everyone to sing beneath the Turin sky.” With music spanning generations and genres, families, friends, and tourists found themselves united in song, just as they would on a shared road trip soundtrack.
Fireworks, tradition, and FIAT pride
The night ended with a spectacular pyrotechnic display, honoring the city’s Patron Saint celebration tradition and leaving crowds in awe. Beyond the lights and music, the event strengthened the emotional bond between FIAT and the people of Turin—one rooted in shared history and values.
Admission was free with prior registration, making the celebration accessible to all who wished to be part of this cherished local tradition.
