SHERIDAN, WYOMING – Jan. 09, 2025 – The new Suzuki e-Vitara is ready for its close-up! Making its public debut at the Brussels Motor Show (January 10-19, 2025), Suzuki's first all-electric B-segment SUV is set to electrify the European market. Along with the e-Vitara, Suzuki will be showcasing its popular compact car lineup, including the Swift, Vitara, and S-Cross.
e-Vitara: A New Era for Suzuki
The e-Vitara signifies Suzuki's entry into the electric vehicle market and is expected to launch in Germany in the second half of 2025. Built on the innovative "HEARTECT-e" platform, specifically designed for battery electric vehicles, the e-Vitara promises a lightweight structure, optimal protection for the high-voltage battery, and a spacious interior thanks to its long 2,700 mm wheelbase.
Technology and Design
Inside the e-Vitara, a modern digital unit combines the instrument cluster and central display, providing intuitive control over navigation, climate control, and Suzuki Connect services. Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ ensure seamless smartphone integration for enhanced connectivity.
Power and Performance
The e-Vitara will be offered with two battery options: a 49 kWh battery with front-wheel drive and a 61 kWh battery with available "ALLGRIP-e" electric all-wheel drive. The all-wheel-drive system utilizes a second electric motor on the rear axle, providing enhanced traction and performance. Drivers can tailor their driving experience with selectable driving modes, including a "Trail Mode" for off-road adventures in the all-wheel-drive version.
Sustainability Meets Versatility
The e-Vitara combines Suzuki's commitment to sustainability with its renowned reputation for producing versatile and reliable vehicles. With zero tailpipe emissions, the e-Vitara offers a clean and efficient driving experience without compromising on performance or practicality.
Production and Availability
Production of the Suzuki e-Vitara will commence in spring 2025 at the Suzuki plant in Gujarat, India. Further details about the e-Vitara, including pricing and specific trim levels, will be announced closer to its launch date.
