Norton Unveils 450 cc Urban Bike, With Sales Starting in 2027

London – November 02, 2026 -- Norton Motorcycles has announced a new 450 cc urban motorcycle, with sales scheduled to begin in 2027. The official model name will be revealed ahead of launch.

A 454 cc single and an 8-inch touchscreen anchor the spec sheet

The bike is powered by a liquid-cooled 454 cc single-cylinder engine that produces 45 Nm of torque. Norton says the tuning favors responsive, accessible performance. An aluminium frame underpins the handling, and an 8-inch TFT touchscreen brings connectivity features to the cockpit.

Norton describes the design as reductive, built around perfect proportions, a strong stance, sophisticated surfaces and sharp attention to detail. The company says a motorcycle's appeal is not defined by engine capacity or category alone, but by the experience it creates.

TVS Motor Company Chairman Sudarshan Venu said the goal is motorcycles with their own identity, each "unmistakably Norton."

The 450 follows four new-generation models shown at EICMA 2025

At EICMA 2025, Norton unveiled the Manx, Manx R, Atlas and Atlas GT. Deliveries of the Manx R and Atlas have started in European markets, and the Manx and Atlas GT are due to follow.

The Manx R won the Red Dot: Best of the Best distinction at the 2026 Red Dot Award: Design Concept. It had earlier been recognized at the 2026 International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA).

Norton is also working with Foster + Partners on a new global retail concept.

Norton now sells through more than 50 locations in 10 markets

The retail network includes the UK, Italy, France, Germany and Spain. Preparations are under way for Norton's entry into India and the United States, and the company says the 450 cc model will play an important role in that expansion.

Development draws on three sites owned or run by TVS Motor Company, which acquired Norton in April 2020: the Solihull, UK, facility for design and engineering, TVS Motor's global engineering center in Italy, and its R&D headquarters in India.
