Berlin – September 09, 2026 -- Segway has won two Gold Awards at IFA 2026 in Berlin for its upcoming flagship eKickScooters, the ZT3 MAX and the MAX G3 Pro, both set to launch in Europe in October 2026.
The Segway eKickScooter ZT3 MAX received the All-Terrain Electric Scooter Technology Gold Award, while the Segway eKickScooter Ninebot MAX G3 Pro won the Long-Range Riding Technology Gold Award. The Global Product Technology Innovation Awards are presented annually at IFA, one of the world's largest consumer electronics shows, and were founded in 2014 by International Data Group (IDG) and the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DIHK), with ongoing support from IFA.
Two flagship families target different riders
The MAX G series is built for long-range commuting, everyday reliability and riding comfort, while the ZT series focuses on all-terrain capability and stability across varied surfaces. Both the ZT3 Pro and MAX G3 predecessors have already been widely adopted by riders across Europe and North America, becoming two of Segway's most successful premium eKickScooter models.
Real-world riding conditions shaped the design
Segway says the new models were developed with European city cobblestones, hills, wind and stop-and-go traffic directly informing their engineering. The company integrates hardware, software and control systems into a single riding system rather than optimizing specifications separately.
Full specifications, availability and pricing for the ZT3 MAX and MAX G3 Pro will be announced at the European launch in October 2026.
