New York – October 28, 2026 -- Renters in Idaho can now buy insurance through Lemonade, with coverage starting at $5 per month.

Lemonade Renters Insurance runs through a single app. Idaho residents can get a quote, buy a policy, update an existing one and file a claim without switching tools.
The company says more than 50% of claims are handled instantly, so renters can get help sooner after a covered loss.
Rates run about 30% below the national average
Based on company and industry data, Lemonade puts its renters insurance rates roughly 30% below the national average. The $5 monthly starting price is the entry point.
Customers may also qualify for extra savings by bundling policies, installing qualifying home safety devices or choosing annual billing.
Lemonade's pitch: skip the complexity
Dan Timsit, Head of Renters Insurance at Lemonade, said the company set out to cut through the complexity that makes traditional insurance painful, with "simple quotes, instant claims, and rates that don't break the bank." He said Idaho renters can now get that too.
Lemonade serves more than 3 million active customers. It cites recognition from Forbes, CNBC and U.S. News & World Report for its insurance products and customer experience.
