Zillow Now Lets You Search Homes and Rentals Inside Claude

Seattle – October 20, 2026 -- Zillow has launched a connector that lets Claude users browse homes for sale or rent, check home values and estimate what they can afford without leaving the AI assistant.

Setup takes four steps in Claude's settings

Users open Claude, go to "Customize," select "Connectors" and connect Zillow. From there, they can ask specific questions, such as finding three-bedroom homes for sale in Denver under $600,000 with a garage, or apartments for rent in Seattle under $2,500 a month.

Listings, maps and affordability tools appear in the chat

Claude can show Zillow listings with photos, prices and other details, plus interactive maps, home value estimates and affordability tools. Links lead to the full property pages on Zillow. In the same conversation, users can request a tour, contact a real estate agent or explore financing.

Zillow says it does not send data to Anthropic. Its own MLS-approved listing display appears inside Claude, with the same broker and MLS attribution as on Zillow.com.

Zillow already runs similar experiences in ChatGPT and Gemini

The Claude connector joins existing Zillow experiences in ChatGPT and a rentals-focused experience in Gemini. The same technology powers Zillow AI mode in the Zillow app, which combines housing information with a user's preferences.

Josh Weisberg, Zillow's senior vice president of AI, said the goal is to help users take the next step: "a tour, an agent, a loan officer."

Zillow's ethical AI team reviews its AI products for fair housing compliance. The company has also published its AI principles and released its Fair Housing Classifier as an open-source tool for identifying potential bias in real estate conversations.
