Berlin – September 10, 2026 -- TCL Industries and TCL Technology are showcasing a new lineup of solar panels, home batteries and heat pumps at IFA 2026, aiming to link industrial-scale renewable energy production with smart home systems for everyday consumers.
The companies are presenting their joint exhibition, called "Inspiration Habitat," at Messe Berlin's Hall 21A from September 4 to 8, 2026. The immersive space lets visitors interact directly with products spanning connected devices, displays and clean energy technology.
New solar hardware targets residential rooftops
On display are SunPower Origin back-contact solar panels, TCL T5 Pro TOPCon shingled-cell modules, and C2 back-contact panels, alongside battery storage systems and heat pumps built for home use. These come from SunPower Home Energy and TCL Smart Home, two divisions under the TCL umbrella.
A single platform ties solar, storage and heating together
At the center of the setup is a smart home energy management system that connects solar generation, battery storage, heating and daily electricity use through one platform. TCL says the integration gives homeowners a fuller view of their energy flows and more control over consumption.
TCL points to its own factories as proof of concept
Valentina Maggiore, vice president of marketing at TCL SunPower, said the company's energy strategy starts before it reaches the home. In 2025, renewable sources -- including green electricity and self-generated solar power -- accounted for 11.7% of TCL Industries' total energy consumption. Maggiore said running solar installations and storage systems at industrial scale inside TCL's own factories generates operational data the company now applies to residential products.
TCL frames the exhibition as a link between its manufacturing and ESG operations and the technology it sells directly to consumers. Product availability and supported features will vary by market, according to the company.
