LOS ANGELES – October 06, 2026 -- AGON has unveiled the AGP257FT, a gaming monitor built around an overclocked 1050Hz refresh rate and a 0.1ms MPRT response time, aimed squarely at competitive and professional esports players.
The Oxide panel pushes pixel speed beyond typical LCD limits
The AGP257FT runs on a native Oxide panel that pairs fast-response liquid-crystal materials with an integrated GIA circuit design, enabling the 1050Hz refresh rate at 1920 x 1080 resolution. AGON says this architecture overcomes the slower voltage-response delays found in conventional LCD panels, resulting in smoother motion, reduced frame delay and quicker visual feedback during fast-paced gameplay.
Motion Blur Reduction Plus and G-SYNC Compatible support target fast-moving action
Motion Blur Reduction Plus (MBR+) is designed to minimize perceived blur during rapid on-screen movement, sharpening object definition during flick shots and fast scene changes. NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible technology syncs the display's refresh rate with compatible GPUs to cut down on screen tearing and stuttering. The monitor also supports VESA DisplayHDR 400 for added brightness and visual impact without affecting competitive performance.
Eye-comfort features address long gaming sessions
A hardware-based Low Blue Light solution reduces shortwave blue light directly at the backlight source, preserving natural color accuracy without the yellow tint common to software-based filters. The monitor's Circular Polarization technology is TÜV Rheinland-certified at over 50% circularity, producing light AGON says more closely resembles natural sunlight to reduce glare and eye fatigue during extended play.
AGON positions the release within its seven-year market streak
AGON cites 2025 IDC data naming it the world's No. 1 gaming monitor brand for seven consecutive years. The AGP257FT combines its OC1050Hz performance, 0.1ms MPRT, Fast IPS Technology, MBR+, G-SYNC Compatible support and Circular Polarization into a single esports-focused display.
