Berlin – September 07, 2026 -- ASUS has introduced its new ProArt lineup at IFA 2026, built around NVIDIA's RTX Spark platform to let creators and developers run heavy AI workloads directly on their laptops instead of the cloud.
The lineup includes the ProArt P16 and P14 laptops plus the GR1X mini PC, all powered by RTX Spark, which pairs a Blackwell RTX GPU with 6,144 CUDA cores and a 20-core NVIDIA Grace CPU. ASUS says the systems deliver up to 1 petaflop of AI performance and up to 128GB of unified memory.
On-device AI removes cloud token limits
RTX Spark can run 120-billion-parameter large language models, render 3D scenes larger than 90GB, and generate 4K AI video entirely on the device, according to ASUS. The company says this gives users full workflow customization and private local data handling without relying exclusively on cloud services.
The P16 and P14 are ASUS's thinnest ProArt laptops yet
The ProArt P16 measures 12.9mm thick and weighs 1.77kg, while the P14 measures 13.9mm and weighs 1.48kg. Both carry batteries up to 99Wh and feature ASUS Lumina Pro OLED displays with Delta E under 1 color accuracy, up to 1,600 nits peak brightness, and 120Hz refresh rates.
The GR1X mini PC targets round-the-clock AI workloads
Measuring 150 x 150 x 51mm, the GR1X is designed for continuous 24/7 AI processing and comes in Nano Black or a new Neo White finish, which ASUS is also extending across the broader ProArt design line.
ASUS bundles agentic AI tools into the new machines
The ProArt ecosystem includes ASUS's own MuseTree and StoryCube tools running local generative AI models FLUX and WAN. The laptops also come bundled with Adobe Creative Cloud and an exclusive Google AI Pro offer, alongside validated workflows for ComfyUI and ASUS's agent, Zenni Claw.
