New York – September 23, 2026 -- Attack Shark has launched the MEGA B2, a gaming mouse that replaces traditional mechanical switches with TMR-based Magnetic Micro-Switches, letting players set actuation distances as fine as 0.1mm.
Magnetic switches allow adjustable trigger sensitivity
Instead of physical contacts, the MEGA B2 detects button movement through magnetic sensing, a design the company says reduces switch wear over time. The mouse also supports Rapid Trigger technology, letting activation and reset points shift dynamically so players can fire repeated inputs without waiting for a fixed reset distance. Both primary buttons include linear motor haptic feedback, with independently adjustable trigger sensitivity and tactile intensity.
The sensor tracks up to 60,000 DPI and 850 IPS
A customized PixArt PAW3955MAX sensor powers the mouse, offering 1-60,000 DPI in 1-DPI increments, 20,000 FPS, 850 IPS, and 75G acceleration. A Nordic 54LM20 MCU manages processing and power draw. The device connects at 8,000Hz polling rates over both wired and wireless modes, paired with a shark-fin-shaped 8K receiver that displays connection status, polling rate, and battery life via LED indicators.
The mouse weighs 63±3g and lasts 360 hours per charge
Attack Shark built the MEGA B2 with a reinforced button-module frame to keep click feel consistent during extended sessions. A 300mAh battery delivers up to 360 hours of use at 1,000Hz polling rate. Other features include a glass-like cooling surface coating and a TTC Gold Wheel encoder for scroll feedback.
Software lets users adjust virtual sensor offset by grip style
Beyond DPI, button mapping, and polling rate settings, Attack Shark's web-based driver and PC software let users fine-tune virtual sensor offset to match different grip styles and aiming preferences.
The launch follows Attack Shark's Cloud9 partnership
The MEGA B2 release comes after Attack Shark's recent partnership with Cloud9's League of Legends team. The company says it has more than 10 million users globally and is extending magnetic sensing technology, previously used mainly in keyboards, into its mouse lineup.
