Berlin – September 08, 2026 -- Boya has launched the Notra Neo, a compact AI note-taking device priced at $79.99, unveiled at IFA 2026. The device targets everyday users who want automated transcription and summaries from lectures, meetings, and calls without a premium price tag.
Three recording modes switch automatically depending on the situation
Notra Neo combines Ambient Recording, Phone Call Recording, and Bluetooth Recording in a single device. Ambient Recording picks up voices within a 5-meter, 360-degree range for lectures, meetings, and interviews. Phone Call Recording captures calls directly, while Bluetooth Recording connects to other devices to record online classes, virtual meetings, and video interviews.
AI converts recordings into transcripts in more than 140 languages
The device transcribes conversations with speaker identification, making it easier to follow who said what. Boya's AI tools generate summaries and mind maps from recordings, letting users skip listening to full audio files. A feature called Ask AI lets users search past recordings to pull up specific details, such as a point made in an old lecture or a decision from a previous meeting.
Recordings sync across devices through the Boya OS App and Web
Users can access, manage, and export recordings and AI-generated notes through Boya's app and web platform, keeping the process from capture to sharing in one workflow.
