Creality K3 Swaps Nozzles in 5 Seconds, Pre-Orders From $849

Houston – October 13, 2026 -- Creality has opened US pre-orders for the K3, a flagship 3D printer starting at $849 that swaps between four nozzles in about 5 seconds instead of purging filament through a single one. The company says this cuts total print times by up to 80% and material waste by up to 85% compared with conventional single-nozzle multi-color workflows.

Four nozzles replace constant filament purging

Conventional single-nozzle multi-color printers repeatedly retract, reload, and purge filament, which can mean hundreds or thousands of changes per print. The K3 instead keeps four filaments ready in independent channels. Its proprietary KliTekTM system switches between lightweight nozzle assemblies. Complete material changes take under 15 seconds, and color switching is up to five times faster than conventional workflows, according to Creality.

The printer is an IFA Innovation Awards 2026 Honoree and builds on the automation of the K2 Series.

Mixed nozzles and flexible filaments need add-ons

With optional accessories, users can combine 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, and 0.8 mm nozzles in one print. Smaller nozzles handle detailed surfaces and larger ones handle faster infill, which can improve efficiency by up to 30%.

The S-DriveTM Dual-Drive feeding system supports TPU 85A–95A with compatible accessories. It reaches flow rates of up to 15 mm3/s with TPU 95A, which Creality says is seven times that of standard consumer 3D printers under specified testing conditions.

The K3 also offers CMYK physical color blending, using calibrated translucent filaments and controlled layer stacking for a broader color spectrum. USB-C quick-swap nozzle assemblies cut replacement costs by up to one-third compared with complete toolhead replacements. The printer handles PLA, PETG, PET, and PCTG out of the box, while optional accessories add engineering-grade, flexible, and soluble filaments.

Specs: 500 mm/s speeds and 37 sensors

The K3 offers a 260 × 260 × 260 mm build volume, print speeds up to 500 mm/s, and acceleration of 20,000 mm/s2. A 300°C hot end and 100°C heated bed cover a broad range of materials.

Thirty-seven sensors keep precision intact during rapid swaps, 12 of them dedicated to nozzle alignment and locking. In Creality's lab tests, repeatability stayed below 25 μm across more than 800,000 nozzle-change cycles. The reinforced structure is 30% more rigid, and operating noise drops by 7 dB, based on internal testing.

Pre-order bonus runs through November 30

From October 12 through November 30, 2026, buyers paying $849 receive four free rolls of Hyper PLA filament. Orders through Creality's official online store also ship free during the promotion. In Europe, the K3 is expected to arrive in December 2026.

Performance figures come from Creality's internal testing and may vary with materials, models, and printing conditions. Advanced multi-material, flexible-filament, and mixed-nozzle capabilities require accessories sold separately.
